TurkishBank Group to Open Fintech Centers in Istanbul and London

Turkish and global financial institutions and fintechs met for the first time in history during SIBOS, the world’s largest financial organization, hosted by TurkishBank UK. The distinguished participants discussed the future of the financial world at the event held on the terrace of the TurkishBank UK branch in London’s Mayfair neighborhood. The event was well attended and participants had the opportunity to make many contacts in a short time.

In the statement made by TurkishBank UK, “The invitation started at 18:00 and continued until 23:00 due to the intense interest”. Hakan Börteçene, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TurkishBank UK, said: “This intense interest sends the message that Turkish FinTechs have given us the task of being their guide in London and that Global FinTechs expect the same task from us in the Turkish market, and I believe that the Fintech-oriented centers that we will establish in Istanbul in the first stage and which we plan to open in London later on will be very useful for this purpose.”
